Questions wholesalers ask
Why is it only $40 a month?
Because the AI does the order-taking, there is no setup fee and no sales rep to pay for. Many ordering systems for distributors are priced by quote. Fresh Connects is $40 a month with no contract, and you can cancel any time. We make our money from subscriptions and the texts and calls you use. We never sell your information or your customers' information.
Do my customers need an account?
No. They text your number, call it, or open your order link. No app, no account, and it costs them nothing. Buyers who want to see every wholesaler in their city can open their own account.
What does it cost?
$40 a month per location. The first 30 days are free, then you get a monthly statement in the app. Texts and calls to your number are 15¢ a text and 50¢ a minute, prepaid, with $100 of credit to start. You pay only for the texts and minutes on your number, so a quiet day costs almost nothing. No card needed.
How long until I can start?
Request access. We usually approve within a few hours. If we haven't met yet, we'll call you first. Then upload your price list and share your number.
Does Fresh Connects handle payments between me and my buyers?
No. Your buyers pay you directly — cash on delivery unless you've arranged terms with them. Fresh Connects doesn't collect payments between buyers and sellers. Fresh Connects never asks for or stores your card or bank details.
Can my warehouse keep using paper?
Yes. Print a pick list for any order — no prices on it — or tick several orders and print one sheet that adds them up. Your crew keeps the clipboard.
Can I turn off texts and calls?
Yes. Text and phone ordering each switch on and off in Settings, right away. Your order link and the app keep taking orders either way, so you choose how your customers reach you.
Which accounting software does it work with?
QuickBooks Online, and an export for QuickBooks Desktop.
Can other wholesalers see my prices?
It's up to you. Other wholesalers only buy from you at a wholesale price you set. You can keep your catalog to your own customers in the app, or open it to every buyer in your area. Your costs and margins are never shown.
